Sustainable Port Development and Preservation of Biodiversity Seminar

On April 30, 2019, UMEP, Port and Maritime Association of Guadeloupe, held a seminar on «Sustainable port development and the preservation of biodiversity» at the MACTe, Caribbean center of expression and memory of slavery.

CEI.BA was one of the sponsors which organized Juan Carlos CROSTON, President of the Caribbean Shipping Association (CSA) and Milaika CAPELLA, member of the CSA’s Board visit.

The discussions focused on the expertise developed by the Port of Guadeloupe on the preservation of biodiversity, particularly following the channel expansion.  

Moreover, our Communication and External Affairs Manager, Sabine BAJAZET, made a presentation on the Guadeloupe Port Community System environmental impact.
